Do you offer GPS tracking for all pre-planned and emergency vehicles?
Tracking is provided through a CMAC-owned web application which is accessible from anywhere in the world across multiple devices. The tracking is live and offers a complete real-time view of vehicle status and locations which can be used to help manage customer expectations. Unlike smaller vehicles such as taxis and private hire vehicles, GPS tracking isn’t as widely adopted amongst larger vehicle operators (coaches and buses). CMAC are working with these operators to help them recognise the importance of live tracking in providing an enhanced duty of care to clients. In 2020 we launched an application which allows larger vehicle operators to easily share their tracking with CMAC.
Do you supply rail coordinators?
Yes. we believe that Rail Replacement Coordinators are a critical, and often underutilised, resource. On-the-ground representatives have the capability to positively impact customer experience across multiple touchpoints during disruption.
Do you have a rail replacement coordinator app?
CMAC’s bespoke app, available on all devices, is available for critical staff ‘on the ground’ and provides key information to help support customers and manage operations seamlessly. The app provides real-time updates and enables ground staff to make informed decisions.
